As you are packing GO LIGHT!!! You do not need 12 things of baby wipes, I have had teams bring so many baby wipes we never ran out. As you are narrowing down your packing list this next week simplify as much as possible. You will laugh when you get going and say I brought way too much stuff. If you can't carry it and manage it yourself don't bring it!
Things you can bring are fun things for the people of Swaziland. Kid stuff. Look around your house and see what you already have that you don't use! Or ask people to donate money to you personally so that you can help people along the way. It is always nice to be able to buy Bibles and things along the way for the people we will be serving.
WEATHER!!! Check out the weather online.. I am pretty sure it will be cool at nights. Most people think Africa and think HOT but you might be surprised. Bring a little of both warm and cool weather clothing. Bring some shorts that are knee length. Bring things you will be comfortable in.. not just "missionary" clothing. Jeans and sweat pants are always a good staple. Sweatshirt or jacket (rain or light jacket). Go light but bring sufficient clothing.
Bring a pillow! A camping pillow is not necessary unless you just want one.
GUITAR!!!! Do any of your play guitar? Do any of you have a guitar that you would be willing to bring?
Please respond to this to let me know who is reading these messages and if you have a guitar please let me know soon!
